David Cravath

David Cravath brings to his clients a well timed blend of Broker, Developer and Investor experience. Since 1984, David has consistently ranked in the top 10% of Phoenix Brokers in the sale of large Apartment communities in single and multiple property portfolios. Over the years he has represented many Developers and Owners and has a long track record as well as representing the RTC, FDIC, Banks, and other Special Servicers in the sale of distressed multifamily properties.

In the early stages of the housing boom, David also engaged in investment of raw farm ground, designed, platted and sold several large high density Planned Developments, ultimately selling these parcels to some of the nation’s top home builders and condo developers.

As the housing and commercial market started to transition in recent years, David has once again dedicated himself exclusively to the brokerage of distressed multi-family properties.

In forming The Phoenix Group, David has positioned this specialized brokerage company to react and respond to the fast changing marketplace, with innovations in analysis, market research, and targeted marketing.


William S. Osterman

Bill brings to his clients more than 25 years experience in commercial real estate sales, evaluation and lending and a thorough knowledge of many major US markets particularly on the West Coast.

In 1985, Bill and his partner formed a mortgage brokerage and real estate sales company, Lincoln & Osterman and then in 1990, his company began assisting commercial banks in Kansas City, MO with work out strategies later joining Midland Loan Services in 1992 as Portfolio Manager charged with the resolution of over 400 distressed assets acquired in connection with the RTC Multiple Investor Fund disposition. Bill’s workout knowledge and contacts are particularly valuable in today’s market with so many of the transactions arising from lender owned and otherwise distressed notes and properties.

Subsequent to the acquisition of Midland Loan Services by PNC Bank, in 1997, Bill became a regional director in CMBS lending. In 1999, he left PNC Real Estate Finance and re-entered the real estate mortgage and real estate brokerage business in Scottsdale, AZ.


Donn Kinzle

Donn Kinzle has been involved in the sale of investment and undeveloped land parcels for over 25 years. Starting with Industrial Land sales, Donn transitioned to representing Intel in both Fab sites in Chandler as well as other land and industrial properties for Intel throughout the world. In the last 10 years Donn has been extremely active in the sale of large acreages in Pinal County as well as West Phoenix. Donn has long relationships with some of the Valleys most respected and successful real estate developers. He has continued to excel in the recent down-turn in the raw land market and brings a proven track record of consistent and ongoing success.


David M. Barnard

With over 22 years of experience in real estate, David offers his clients a wealth of broker, developer and investor experience. Since David’s entry into the Phoenix real estate market in 1987, he has consistently ranked as one of the top local brokers selling large apartment communities in single and multiple property portfolios.

In the early 1990’s David represented many lending institutions with distressed properties as well as acting as exclusive broker on numerous RTC transactions. David is no stranger to bond and other forms of municipal financing, and was a principal player in the IDB market in the early 2000’s.

David has in depth knowledge of the multi-family market in both Arizona and Colorado and is not only a broker but has developed many apartments and RV and self storage facilities for his own account over the years. David is well known in the Phoenix apartment community and his familiarity with owners, management companies, and lenders makes him one of the most current brokers in the market.
